After having decided for high speed prints (especially for larger bed sizes) a core X-Y mechanism is the best. After reading several reviews of the Bambu Lab series of printers I decided to buy an X1 Carbon Combo on October 22, 2024!

After a short period of time the packages arrived, the minimum assembly was quick and easy and the self test worked flawlessly and I was able to print a number of example files.

I then printed a poop chute (magnetic) and finally printed out to flexible panda bears!

I printed a large number of enhancements for the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (and it’s AMS unit) and I decided that I needed a second AMS unit so then I printed the AMS Stacker on MakerWorld and added the two AMS units to it.

There are a great number of FW features that make this a great printer but among the best is the ability to remove an object from the print plate if it detaches from the plate and so not having to throw out the whole plate of parts.
